Name of the Position - Constable (General Duty)
Total Number of Positions - 1507 Posts
Scale of Pay - Rs.5,200 to Rs.20,200 plus Rs.1,900 Grade Pay
Limitation of Age - Contender’s age should be within the age group of 18 years to 28 years as on 1st of January, 2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government norms.
Academic Requirements - Job seekers should have passed class 10th or class 12th or any other course equivalent to it from a known Board or Institute. Contenders of ST category who have passed class 8th are also eligible to apply.
Application Cost - Job seekers who belong to General category have to pay Rs.300 as registration charges and job seekers who belong to reserved category have to pay Rs.125 as application fee. Registration charges have to be paid in cash at main Post Office, Head Quarters of County District.
Recruitment Process - Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Written Test will be the basis for recruitment of applicants.
Methodology for Application :
Aspirants can collect the application forms available at any Head Post Office of Police County after paying the application fee. Job seekers should fill the application form with every necessary detail and submit it to the Police County Superintendent’s Office.

Application forms are available from 25th of July, 2012.
Last date to submit the application form is 17th of September, 2012.
