BSF (Border Security Force), Ministry of Home Affairs, is looking forward to fill vacancies of various positions of Sub Inspector (Store Keeper) and Constable (Store Keeper, Upholster, Auto Electrician, Vulcanize and Black Smith). Dynamic and enthusiastic contenders may apply for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable.

Designation’s Name-

1. Constable (Store Keeper, Upholster, Auto Electrician, Vulcanize and Black Smith)

2. Sub Inspector (Store Keeper)

Vacancy Count- 18 Seats

1. Constable (Store Keeper, Upholster, Auto Electrician, Vulcanize and Black Smith) : 17 Seats

2. Sub Inspector (Store Keeper) : 1 Seat

Limitation of Age- Age limit for contenders applying for the post of Constable is 18 yrs to 25 yrs. Age limit for job seekers applying for the post of Sub Inspector is 20 yrs to 25 yrs. Relaxation of age will be as per Government rules.

Academic Necessities-

1. For Constable : Aspirants must be Matriculate or any other equivalent qualification from a known Institution or Board and ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate in relevant trade.

2. For Sub Inspector : Aspirant must have obtained 3 yrs Diploma in Mechanical / Auto Mobile / Auto Electrical Engineering from a Government recognized Institute.

Process of Selection- Written Examination, Practical Test, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Examination and Interview will be the criteria for selection of candidates.

Application Cost- Cost of application is Rs.50 which is to be paid by means of Bank Draft or Postal Order.

Application Process :

Interested contenders should send their application form in the prearranged format with all the relevant certificates and documents dully attested. Application form and other documents should be sent along with two envelopes self addressed, each with Rs.27 postal stamp with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB INSPECTOR (TECHNICAL) / CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL) IN BSF FOR MOTOR TRANSPORT WORKSHOP CADRE-2014″ written on it. Candidate should also send two recent passport size photographs.

14^th of July, 2014 is the closing date for submission of application forms.
